I learned from the life of Athanasius
to really fight for what you believe. He showed on how he defended on
what he believe and have proofs to show it to the church. This lesson
that I learned really challenge me to be encourage to fight on what I
believe. I have learned a lesson from the life of Eusebius. I learned
how important the positive events that had happened. It is that it
will give inspiration to the people and encourage them to do the
ministry or continue the ministry they had started.
I remember when I was in elementary. I
had this argue with my church mate about the nature of Jesus. It was
that he never believe to me that Jesus is man and also God. We had a
great argue with it in the church. I kept on insisting what I believe
yet I gave up and just believe to what he said to me because he was
older than me. And I have this perspective in my mind that he knows
more than me. May be he was right and I am wrong. Another experience
that I had about the valuing positive events was that I am confident
to encourage others to just continue to do the ministry. It was in
our youth fellowship that we had few attendees. I reminded them the
time when we were so many and encourage them that we would invite
again the young people in the church and will plan an activity that
will catch their attention.
The steps that I will do is first I
will never allow myself to just believe on the older people and will
really have evidence on the things that I believe. I will search for
proofs so that I will not be deceived again by wrong doctrine. I will
continue to remind our members on the positive events that had
happened in our church so that they will be encouraged to continue to
serve God through participating on the ministries in the church.
