There were times that the people had
their own trials, especially those people who believe and follow
Jesus Christ. I learned that the challenges or persecutions that they
had encountered had its own negative and positive effects. It is that
the persecutions were part of the plan of God to fulfill His own
purpose. Another lesson that I learned is about the reasons why the
gospel was spread. It was so amazing how God used different
situations, things, and people for His glory. Even the persecution
was one of the reason of the spreading of the gospel. I learned that
in negative event, there is good outcome.
I remember since I was following Jesus Christ and being active in the church, there were many persecutions that I had encountered also. It could not be the same with what the history people's experiences but it was a persecution. Many of the students or my schoolmates mocked be because I had bring with me my Bible. Even my friends will question me about what the Bible said and if it is true. But because of those persecution, I had shared the Word of God to some of my classmates and friends.
Because of what I have learned that
challenges or persecutions in life also had the positive effects.
First thing that I will do is to value the challenges that I will be
encountered. I will change the concept of my mind, thinking first the
negative effects of the negative event or situation. I will discover
the positive effects first. Then, I will not be discouraged by it,
instead I will take it as a challenge to help me to grow my faith
more in the Lord.
